	Grandmas surprise One there was a family of four. They were Mama, Papa, Edith, and Ivan. They all loved to eat. They ate meats, vegetables, potatoes, and sweets. For breakfast, they ate an eleven-egg omelet and lots of toast. For lunch they ate soup, hotdogs or hamburgers, and fruit. But dinner was their favorite meal! They ate rice and beans with chicken. For dessert, they ate ice cream and cake. There was only one thing wrong. Edith and Ivan WOULD NOT EAT FISH! Mama and Papa tried everything. They grilled and fried it, or made fish sticks. But nothing worked. Mama was desperate and called Grandma to ask for help. Grandma was a great cook with lots of ideas. Edith and Ivan peeked in the kitchen to watch. They opened the door. They asked, "What is she going to make?" Finally, Grandma called everyone to eat . Each plate had a rainbow of food! The table was covered with strange figures and shapes! There was a unicorn and an oboe on a dish. What could it be? On another dish, there was a starfish, a shell and a baby whale! What could it be? It was fish! Edith and Ivan ate all of it!
